Dandenong Show 2020 is cancelled!
2020 Dandenong Show cancelled.
After extensive consideration, it is with much regret that the Dandenong Agricultural and Pastoral Society Inc., has cancelled the 2020 Dandenong Show, which was to be held on 14th and 15th November.
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, current restrictions in place for public gatherings, the uncertainty of any timeline around lifting restrictions, and in the best interest of public health, it makes it unworkable to hold a large event such as the Show in 2020.
The Society is a not-for-profit organisation, and it was important to decide on the cancellation now as this decision impacts greatly on our sponsors, exhibitors and competitors who spend months preparing for the show getting entries ready, our volunteers who give so generously of their time each year and our community groups, who not only ably assist us to function, but who use the show as a major fundraiser for their own organisation.
The Society will now turn its attention to planning and presenting the 150th Year of Dandenong Show on 13th and 14th November 2021. (1871 – 2021)
Applications closed until 2021.
Schedules and entry forms will be available in the lead up to the show for 2021.
