From sheep, sideshows and show-bags, the Dandenong Show has something for everyone, with 20,000 visitors from across the country flocking to the city in the second weekend of November. Founded in 1871, this annual event was an important outlet for the predominantly rural community to make business contacts and showcase their stock.While both the city and the show have come a long way since those early days, it continues to remain true to its roots with: Stock shows Animal Nursery Equestrian events and Many other agricultural activities.
