Dandenong Show - 14th & 15th November 2009 CELEBRATING OUR 138TH YEAR! From sheep, sideshows and show-bags, the Dandenong Show has something for everyone, with 20,000 visitors from across the country flocking to the city in the second weekend of November. Founded in 1871, this annual event was an important outlet for the predominantly rural community to make business contacts and showcase their stock.While both the city and the show have come a long way since those early days, it continues to remain true to its roots with: ANIMAL EVENTS:  Competition Program (please see Schedule entry form on right) ATTRACTIONS: Whip Industries – Minibike Stunt Team Fabulous ROVING entertainment - Quirky Camels and Herman & Devinia with their dogs “Knuckles and Squeegee” - Windy Wizard – stilt walking, balloon twisting, magic, clowing. There is now EASY, fast access to showgrounds from EASTLINK , via the southbound exit Cheltenham Road & northbound exit Chandler Road (AT Cheltenham Road intersection) *Proudly supported by: City of Greater Dandenong, Dandenong RSL Sub-branch, Dandenong Market, Dandenong Journal, Dandenong Chamber of Commerce, Westpac Ticket prices Special Price Exhibitors tickets – only available for purchase at time of lodging entries $5.00 each Season's Ticket – only available for purchase at time of lodging entries $35.00 (non refundable) Admits 2 Adults & up to 4 Children under 14 on both days of the Show plus one Vehicle parking subject to availability at time of entry. -Gate prices Show Day: i.
