As President of the Dandenong Agricultural & Pastoral Society Inc., it is with honour that I bring to you, on behalf of the Dandenong Show Committee, the Annual Dandenong Show, celebrating it’s 150th Year.
The past year has been very difficult, but we have worked hard to present a full show, with all the trimmings, to our Exhibitors and show patrons.
We are lucky, and sincerely thank, our wonderful volunteers, sponsors, members of the Victorian Showmen’s Guild and our community partners for their participation and support.
Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AC Governor of Victoria and Mr. Anthony Howard AM QC will be in attendance on Saturday to officially open the Show.
It is exactly 50 years since my father Alf Follett was President for the 100th Show, and the Governor of Victoria opened our Show that year as well.
Thank you to all the committee for their support through the COVID tough times and for working together to present this Show.
I ask all exhibitors for your support for this year’s Show, wishing you success in your competitions and I look forward to seeing you over the weekend of the
Dandenong Show.
